The District Continues to Bleed Experience and Talent Under the Current Administration and BOE Majority

Ms. Annie Corely, Principal of MKM and recognized in 2021 by the National Association of Elementary School Principals as a National Distinguished Principal has resigned.

The District is bleeding experience and talent to keep Dr. Varley and 5 BOE members and their strange vision of BHPSNJ in place. Ms. Corely is the third Principal to resign under this Superintendent. In addition, one Assistant Principal and three Assistant Superintendents have resigned during Dr. Varley’s tenure (we are not overly concerned about the latter-but it is a sign of something wrong).

Dr. Varley’s contract expires next year, and an election that can change the BOE Majority comes this November.

We cannot afford to re-elect Mr. Cianculli or Ms. Young or an unknown quantity who plays it safe during campaign season then suddenly shows their true colors once elected like Gale Bradford.

The stakes are too high.
