The BOE President is Not Answering Questions in Connection To Alleged Affirmative Action Investigation Involving the Superintendent

Over two weeks and still no response from the Board President on allegations involving an Affirmative Action Investigation

In June, BHCW received verbal reports from various reliable sources within the District indicating that an Affirmative Action investigation involving the Superintendent was underway. All of these individuals denied being a party to the action connected to the investigation.

On June 23, 2023, a community member forwarded BHCW an email he/she sent to the Board of Education regarding an alleged Affirmative Investigation involving the Superintendent:

On June 29, 2023, BHCW emailed Board President Angela Penna requesting a response to these allegations:

To date, BHCW has not received any response from Ms. Penna to these questions.

To date, the BOE and Dr. Varley have not to disclosed the cost of Dr. Varley’s ongoing defense of the nepotism violation she has admitted to along with the SEC- validated ethics allegations against members of the BOE Majority.
