Accountability Matters

There are many people we meet throughout our lives.  Oftentimes we remember them for a special quality or event, or something they said or did that left a lasting impact on us.  Teachers often come to mind.  Or a special coach that pushed us to work harder and be better than we thought we could be.  The same can be said for a person who is so passionate about a subject that whenever you hear about that subject you think of that person.

When i think about our town and our school district, there are a few people who immediately come to mind for being fearless and passionate about making our schools and town the absolute best they can be.   People who have proved that they care through years of perseverance in bringing important issues front and center to our residents.   For asking hard questions, and demanding accountability.

One of those people is Sai Bhargavi Akiri.  I don’t know anyone as passionate as she has been and continues to be with regards to our schools.  She has given more of her time freely and selflessly than anyone I know, and she will have my support on election day for Board of Election.
