Sai has spent countless hours over the past few years attending board meetings, researching topics and analyzing data to help educate and inform the community about what is going on in our school district. While she spent her year-long term as a member of the Board of Education, she asked questions and championed for transparency and accountability. Sai spent her time making sure she was familiar and comfortable with what she was voting on.

She has continued this as a community member, speaking at most of the Board of Education meetings. She asks questions that in many cases should be easy to answer, only to be met with silence. How does she respond to this? She does the research on her own and finds the answers, spending her own personal time trying to find answers to these questions.

Most people would back down and retreat if they were treated like this. Sai has not retreated; she continues to push forward and asks tough questions. She continues to call for transparency and accountability from our school administrators. She has proven that she is invested in making our district better for all the students that attend our schools. This is exactly why Sai will be getting my vote for BH BOE on election day.
