What’s Important to Know About Berkeley Heights This Week….

The week’s newsletter thoroughly analyzes Gale Bradford’s first meeting as BOE President and yet another crammed agenda. Residents will learn how Ms. Bradford’s autocratic and probably illegal method of running a meeting collided with three substantial presentations crammed in one meeting, led to a “by design” inability on the part of BOE members and the public to ask long-awaited questions about the audit, the transportation controversy and the Superintendent search.

These concerns become further heightened when reading about a resident’s contribution to probable OPMA violations and Ms. Stanley’s awkward response to his problems.

Readers will endure another lecture from John on Social Media, but he makes up for it with a push to support one of NJ’s best champions of government accountability.

We end, as always, with a summary of important news from around NJ and notes from the week that provide snapshots of the Audit and Transportation presentation concerning information about the Board Attorney from another District, another study that undermines the credibility of Building Thinking Classrooms, and more…
