What’s Important to Know About Our Local & State Government This Week….

Our newsletter begins with the progress made by the new BOE majority and Administration concerning Math proficiency despite the secretive land grabs, drama, and chaos that the political houses and their operatives are creating in our District.

We move on to an analysis of the shocking response from BOE Representative Stanley surrounding pictures and video she took of a resident in the community whose ethics case has been picked up by the State’s Attorney General’s Office along with the email and OPRA documents connected to her statements.

Next is a summary of the Town Council Meeting, where a part-time CFO was appointed with significant unanswered questions on the table and a resolution that puts the CMS issue on a ballot (non-binding) despite a lack of detail on revenue going to our students or liability concerns in the Town’s quest to secure control of school property.

As always, we end with news from around the state and our notes from the week.
