NJ Lighthouse and State Silhouette

NJ21st is now officially operating as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and we’re accepting Contributions.

Note From Admins

This step allows us to grow and make our civic journalism model more sustainable. We aim to support local writers, mentor student contributors, and expand coverage across more towns in our district.

Contributions are not tax-deductible, but they directly support accountability reporting, public records work, and the people doing the work — including students learning how to cover civic life and engage in the democratic process here in New Jersey.

If you’ve found our reporting useful and believe in the value of independent, public-interest journalism at the local level, we hope you’ll consider contributing.

Please note: Any contribution of $200 or more will be listed by name, in accordance with our transparency policy.

If you are unable to contribute financially at this time, please consider sharing your insight and knowledge through an article,

As has been the case for the past four years, our content will remain advertisement-free and never behind a paywall.

Thank you for being part of this effort.
