NJ21st, Inc. has been officially recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt social welfare organization under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code.

This designation affirms NJ21st’s role as an independent, nonprofit civic journalism organization.

We will continue to report on public spending, education policy, and local decision-making with the same commitment to factual, citizen-driven journalism that has guided us since 2021.

Contributions to NJ21st support community reporting and advocacy for open government. They are not tax-deductible as charitable donations, but they directly sustain our mission to make public information truly public.
