What’s Important to Know About Berkeley Heights This Week…

This week’s newsletter covers a diversity of topics across the Berkeley Heights Public School District. You will learn the magnitude of the District’s legal spending, some concerning history connected to our current firm, and a policy that seeks to further silence BOE Members from sharing information with the public.

A parent shares her concerns about contradictions in the District’s approach to equity concerning global events surrounding the terrorist attacks against Israel and the increase in anti-semitism. An educator shares information about another ranking that places Berkeley Heights at the bottom of the 7-District dashboard. John addresses the narrative of parents with children attending Berkeley Heights Schools as the same individuals who want to “tear” these same schools “apart.”

We received our first endorsements for Sai Akiri and Natasha Joly, who are seeking to occupy two seats on the Berkeley Heights BOE, announced the first recipient of our BHCW Good Government Award and another Berkeley Senior who received Congressman Tom Kean’s Senior of Distinction award.
