What’s Important to Know About Berkeley Heights This Week….

This week’s newsletter begins with revisiting the Berkeley Heights Board of Education; we review the current BOE Majority’s attempts to gridlock change next year through policy changes. Berkeley Heights residents also discovered that the District’s issues with conducting ethical surveys in obtaining student information continue – this time in connection to a transportation survey.

BHCW received updates on the land use ordinance from town council members and provided the community responses from the Mayor and Town Council Members on concerns connected to state-level efforts to dismantle OPRA.

Due to the OPRA blindside, BHCW has decided to include state-level updates in its weekly offering of articles; this week’s newsletter includes a summary of important legislative updates relevant to Berkeley Heights Residents.
