What’s Important to Know About Our Local & State Government This Week….

This week’s newsletter starts with a packed and significant 05/30/2024 BOE Meeting that saw the appointment of a new member to the Board of Education, significant approvals connected to programming and staffing, and proposed changes to impactful policies.

We move on to another pretty funny (or sad) OPRA “snafu” on the part of the Business office.  To their credit, they corrected a portion of the issue. However, the “snafu” reveals a redaction of information connected to a significant public interest that had no reason to be hidden.

We wrap up with news from around the state, our notes for the week, and the top three articles for May.
