What’s Important to Know About Our Local & State Government This Week….

This week’s newsletter begins with an overview of District developments and moves to the start of a series that plans to detail – step by step- efforts by operatives from both local machines to obstruct progress being made by the new Board of Education.

We move on to a Community Voice submission that raises questions about a Shared Services agreement approved by the Town Council involving a high-level administrator implicated in an NJ OSC report that alleges the County violated the law in compensating this same administrator.

Our notes from the week include a scathing report from the NJ Office of NJ State Comptroller on Union County, progress made by the new BOE, and more.

As always, the newsletter includes news from around the state, ending with our top articles in June.
