What’s Important to Know About Our Local & State Government This Week….

This week’s newsletter kicks off with a recap of the BOE organization meeting, which, much like last year, featured disruptive theatrics. Ms. Stanley made attempts to filibuster critical discussions, while the business administrator issued inaccurate accusations toward BOE members. Unfortunately, key issues were either deferred or overlooked.

Next, we cover responses from BOE Finance Chair Dipti Khanna and Superintendent Feltre regarding concerns raised about the Budget Survey.

We then highlight our recent contributions to the NJ Education Report and the Jersey City Times, focusing on issues facing urban school districts.
Finally, the newsletter wraps up with Dr. Feltre’s update on the PowerSchool hack, along with a look back at our top three articles from December.
