The Superintendent’s report will honor all district retirees, student representatives and the stellar coaching career of David Closs.

The Finance Committee will consider the hiring of Barre & Company as the auditor for the 2026-27 school year with a maximum allocation of $35,000 for services rendered.

The Board will accept a donation from NJIT of a 3D printer as the first-place prize for the outstanding work by the Civil Engineering team during the 2026 competition.

The renewal agreement with Raptor is set to be approved for $6,513.

Although the Board voted to approve the subscription to a 24-hour AI student-safety monitoring platform, the Board is voting to approve $8,673 to Securly, the current platform that has been used to monitor students. The reason for this additional agreement for online monitoring is unclear at this time.

Under Personnel, the Board will FINALLY approve the contract with the custodians!

Also under Personnel is the appointment of Dr. Jackson as GLHS interim Assistant Principal through June 17 and the appointment of Gregory Cohen as the new Transportation Supervisor at a salary of $365.39 per day.

The Board will approve the hiring of a GL media specialist and a new physics teacher.

BHPS will bid farewell to Emily Adiraanse, GL counselor, Deborah Koustaftes, GL admin assistant, Alexis Bellardino, TPH Special Ed and John Fowler, MKM Head Custodian. Retirements include Susan Ardito, GL para, Theodore Minisky, CMS Head Custodian and Susan Prendeville, CMS Nurse.

The Board will appoint the new Principal of CMS, Laura Muller, from Summit Public Schools at an annual salary of $147,000. She is set to start August 12, 2026.

Policy will feature the second readings for Board Member Perks, aka retiring board members’ eligibility to hand their child or grandchild a diploma, and for the grading system.

This meeting will begin at 6:30 PM in the GL Auditorium to honor all retirees, then move back into the GL Cafeteria to continue with the Superintendent’s report and agenda items.
