Following New Jersey’s frantic June 30 budget rush, the Legislature cleared out of Trenton for the summer. While Governor Mikie Sherrill signed the primary state budget, an inventory of 55 enrolled bills remains on her desk awaiting a signature, veto, or conditional veto.

Before being passed, many of these high-stakes bills underwent major last-minute revisions-scaling back statewide funding, dropping controversial penalties, or narrowing regulatory oversight.
