Edmund “Tom” Maciejewski
I am honored and humbled by the incredible support I received in the Republican Primary for Township Council.
Thanks to your efforts, we not only achieved the number of write-in votes needed to secure the nomination, we exceeded that threshold by more than 200%. Accomplishing this through the write-in process is truly remarkable and demonstrates the strength of grassroots participation in our community.
I want to sincerely thank every resident who took the time to write in my name, encourage a neighbor, make a phone call, or simply spread the word. This victory belongs to all of us.
For more than 20 years, Berkeley Heights has been my home. Over the past decade, I have been deeply involved in local issues because I care about the future of our town and the quality of life we leave for the next generation.
As we head toward the November election, my priorities remain clear:
- Protect Berkeley Heights from overdevelopment and preserve the character of our community.
- Refocus Township government on the core services residents expect, including roads, drainage, infrastructure, public safety and fiscal responsibility.
- Bring independent thinking and practical problem-solving to Town Hall.
As a chemical engineer, I have spent my career analyzing complex systems and solving difficult problems. I believe that same approach can help address many of the infrastructure challenges facing our town, including long-standing drainage and flooding concerns.
I am not running to be a rubber stamp for any group or political agenda. I am running to represent the residents of Berkeley Heights, listen to your concerns and make decisions based on what is best for our community.
The success of this write-in campaign proves that when residents get involved, their voices can make a difference.
Thank you again for your trust, your support and your confidence. I look forward to earning your vote in November and continuing to work together to keep Berkeley Heights a great place to live, work and raise a family.
Sincerely,
Edmund “Tom” Maciejewski
